Are you using the right hashtags?
When I first started my dog Instagram account, I would just type in “dog” or “hound” and use whichever hashtags popped up. I’ve been in the dog Instagram space for more than six years now, and I can tell you that is not the way to find hashtags if you are serious about growing your account size and engagement.
Are your hashtags the right size?
